License Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using an update provided by Beltronics (“Update”), whether via this site or otherwise, you agree to be bound by the following license agreement. Please read this agreement carefully before proceeding.

Beltronics Inc. ("Beltronics") grants you a non-exclusive license to use any Update provided by Beltronics, in the normal operation of the applicable Beltronics product. This license is personal to you and you may utilize Updates only for your personal use. This license only permits the use of an Update in the product for which it is identified and only in the form in which it is provided to you by Beltronics. You may not modify, analyze, decompile, disassemble, translate or reverse engineer any Update, nor create derivative works of an Update, nor publish or publicly disseminate to others any information learned from analysis, decompilation, disassembly, translation or reverse engineering of an Update. You may not retain any copies of any Update except any copy which, at your own choice and risk, you Upload into the authorized Beltronics product. You may not distribute or provide any Update to others, and may not transfer, download or use any Update in violation of export control laws of the United States or any other country.

By downloading, installing or using an Update, you acknowledge that ownership of the Update and all intellectual property rights in and to any Update and any part thereof remain with Beltronics or its licensors, as applicable. You further acknowledge that the Update embodies valuable trade secrets of Beltronics and that the algorithms, processes, methods, structures, organization and sequencing used by the Update remain a valuable trade secret of Beltronics. You agree not to decompile, disassemble, modify, reverse assemble or reverse engineer an Update, or reduce any component of an Update to human readable form, or create any derivative works based on an Update.

Updates are provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, and specifically without any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Beltronics does not warrant the performance of any Update or that the Update will meet your requirements or operate error free.

Your Defender™ Database Subscription is unique to your registered product's serial number and may not be transferred to another person or any other Beltronics product.
