I have a car as well as a truck that I split my driving time in depending on what I need to do that day. Since I only have one radar detector I was moving the unit between the two vehicles constantly sometimes the very same day. Getting the suction cups off the window of one car and then securely again in the other car was turning into a pain.

It was a nice find on the site here to see that I could cheaply get another complete mount so that in the future all I have to move it the radar detector itself. No more hassling with the suction cups! Now that I have them stuck in each windshield change over between the cars is a real piece of cake.
