I invested in this Vector 985 a few years ago and I actually very happy with how it performs. So when the power cord was recently damaged I was happy to see that I could still get one that will work with this unit. So many other companies would stop carrying these accessories so that you are forced into buying one of the newer models.

This is still a great radar detector so thank you Beltronics for continuing to sell the accessories I need to continue to use it on my commute to work everyday.

As a big plus I enjoy the longer cord and the straight design, I am not a big fan of those coiled cords.
