I have to admit that if nobody is in front of me I tend to drive a little faster than I should. With that out of the way the RX65 with the blue LED display is the best radar detector I have ever owned.

I can tell you from experience there is nothing more embarrassing than being pulled over when there is a radar detector on your dash. This unit has also warned me of photo radar so that I can avoid those nasty surprises in the mail that follow going through one of these on the freeway a little too fast.

If I have any complaint I do wish the volume on this unit was a little louder. I tend to play the radio a little loud when a good song is on and sometimes I did not hear the warning as well as I would have liked.

I love the blue display on this radar detector!! Though it does cost a little more to get the blue instead of the red it is worth the money if you want to remain discreet. In the past I always had radar detectors with red displays and I would pick up tailgaters often, especially at night. These other drivers knew I had a radar detector and used me as the lead driver to warn them of potential speed traps. With the blue display other drivers do not see my radar detector and do not use me as a shield so they stay off my bumper and let me enjoy my own drive.

Outside of the display the actual radar detector is one of the best I have ever owned. It is extremely accurate with its warnings and has very few false alarms.
