The GX65 can be easily updated using your computer and the power of the internet. Simply connect the GX5 to your computer, log on to our website, and download the most up to date locations. You can even back up your data or update the GX65's operating software, (firmware), if needed. The database is updated weekly, and Beltronics provides three months of downloadable updates for free. Database Subscriptions are also available to keep you up to date on future Speed Traps, Red Light Cameras and Speed Cameras.

Important:
Location Database Updates and Detector Software Updates for the Beltronics GX 65 Radar Detector requires a Windows based computer. (Operating on Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 only.)
Detector must be powered (if not using a laptop with the car turned on, the Beltronics GX 65 requires a Radar Detector 12 Volt Adapter - not included with detector).
The Beltronics GX 65 requires an USB A to Mini USB cable - not included with detector - before you can install location database updates and detector software updates.
