Once you are notified to a threat, our SmartPlug makes it easy to temporarily silence your radar detector. And don't worry, our detectors are smart enough to sense another threat and alert you in time. Even when muted, the meter on the detector will still flash the threat level and strength until you are safely out of range. Get an extra cord for each of your vehicles to make moving the detector between cars easy.

I share a radar detector with my wife, since we really only use it when one of us is on a highway. The town we live in is just not a place for speeding so why tempt the police by having a detector in your windshield to potentially get them excited.

To make moving the unit back and forth between our cars easier we got an extra cord so that we only need to move the actual box that houses the radar detector. We can then just leave the cord for our blue display RX65.

The Smart Plug is also really handy since this allows us to control our radar detector with the touch of button from silencing to locking out certain alerts. Having an extra cord is much more affordable for us than having a whole other unit for our other car.
