BELTRONICS INTRODUCES ... Vector PRO GX1 and GX2
VEHICLE PERFORMANCE TIMER ACCELEROMETERS
Designed for enhancing the performance driver, the BELTRONICS PRO Series Timer Accelerometers offer drivers instant vehicle
performance feedback.
(CES Las Vegas, January 7, 2004) BELTRONICS, the engineering powerhouse in radar detection design and manufacture, steps into the
youth market with the introduction of the new VECTOR GX1 and GX2 Performance Timer Accelerometers. Designed as an easy means of
measuring vehicle performance and improving driving handling, BEL's VECTOR GX1 and GX2 Performance Timer Accelerometers measure
acceleration times, G-Force, horsepower and more.
VECTOR GX1 and GX2 Performance Timer Accelerometers easily mount to the windshield to measure vehicle acceleration (1/4 mile, 0-60
mph and more); delivered horsepower; peak and continuous G-force including acceleration and cornering measurements (skid pad and
drifting measurements); and braking performance. "Whether a performance, classic, or sports car enthusiast, these new Performance
Timer Accelerometers afford the user the most economical way of testing vehicle performance before making expensive modifications to
their vehicles," adds Don Rich, vice president of sales.
The high-end VECTOR GX2 features an ultra bright, high resolution Blue Vacuum Fluorescent display. It stores up to 10 timed runs
which can be downloaded to PDA, laptop, or PC. The value-priced VECTOR GX1 provides similar features and uses an LCD backlit display
and a 1 run memory. A standard 6' coiled power cord is included with both models.
BELTRONICS designs, manufactures, and markets all of its BEL branded Radar/Laser/Safety detectors and Performance Timer Accelerometer
products in North America. Established in 1967, BELTRONICS has consistently developed product innovations that have positioned its PRO,
VECTOR, and EXPRESS brands as the performance leaders in the marketplace. BELTRONICS holds more than 85% of all active patents in the
radar detector industry.
